Ma Maison is a lovely boutique hotel in a residential district of Saigon. The design of the hotel is antique, french-country style with great attention to detail.
All twelve rooms are individually decorated, no two rooms are the same. All rooms feature en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV and A/C, and breakfast is included in the room price. The management and staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and the hotel is extremely well maintained, spotlessly clean.
Ma Maison has its own restaurant, just for residents, at the entrance of the hotel, serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine as well as European dishes, which can also be ordered as room service.
The hotel is a little out of the way of the tourist spots of Saigon, but most people who stay here see that as a plus - you’ll experience the real feel of Ho Chi Minh City, living amongst the locals. It is very convenient for the airport - about 15 minutes by taxi - and around 15 minutes from District One (the centre of Saigon). There are always plenty of meter taxis around, but the manager will be happy to give you information on getting to city center by bus. They also provide great information on eating in local Vietnamese restaurants in the area.
