Restaurants & Bars in Mui Ne Vietnam
Here are a few of our favourite restaurants in Mui Ne. Click to view some suggestions for
the bars/clubs of Mui Ne.
Ngoc Song serves traditional Vietnamese food. The restaurant is on the beach and you will find a lot of Vietnamese customers in it which is the best sign if you are looking for some real good Vietnamese food.
Lam Tong is the most popular Vietnamese restaurant in town. Authentic Vietnamese, which means you sit on plastic chairs and you don't get the food at the same time as your friends! The food is good and cheap and also a real experience - even Gordon Ramsey cooked there.
The Open Air Fish Beachside Fish Restaurants have the freshest seafood and fish in town - its alive! There are a few of these places by the sea and they all serve super fresh and good food. Vietnamese style that means plastic chairs and improvised kitchens. Around 500 meters from Joe's Café on the beach side.
Vietnam Home Restaurant is known for good Australian beef at reasonable prices. There are plenty of other choices on the menu but the ribeye, tenderloin and T-bone steaks are our secret tips for you.
Mellow has a good variety of western and Vietnamese food. You always will find a lot of other travellers there and it's a nice place to hang out.
Paradise Beach Club is a beach restaurant right on the beach at the resort Coco Beach. The style of the cuisine is French as well as Vietnamese with great choices of seafood, fish and meat.
Sandals is the restaurant at the resort Mia and has a great choice of Mediterranean dishes, also seafood, fish and meat. It's a real experience for your mouth and they have great choice of wine.
Santa Lucia as the name already says: Italian food. The pizza and pasta are lovely and our personal tip, try the caprese salad - also you don't get a better mozzarella salad than at Santa Lucia's.
Good Morning Vietnam was one of the first Italian restaurants in Mui Ne. The pizza's are especially nice as well as the tiramisu.
La Traverna is owned by a Swiss-Italian and French dude and the menu reflects this. Home made ravioli is fabulous, and if you are lucky there is a Fondue or Raclette available.
Sri Ganesh Restaurant makes the best thali this side of Chennai and of course the rest of the menu is real good south Indian food. At high season go early enough or make a booking because it can be really busy.
Joe's Cafe is 24hours 365 days open - in fact its been open for years now - continuously! The menu is from breakfast to burgers and anything you can think of. If you love Pancakes as we do, you won't get any better than the one at Joes's. In the evening there is a lot of live music going on and you will run into a lot of backpackers.
Phat Hamburgers is a must if fancy a super good hamburger. Phat has the best burgers in town, possibly in Vietnam. The choice of different burgers is huge and the girls are always good for a laugh.
Snow A bar/restaurant with a difference, serving some nice sushi and other good food. You can also enjoy a shisha here.
And a few of the bars we like...
Sankara is the smartest bar in town and right on the beach, with a chilled Ibiza feel. You can get some really good food here too and of course the drinks are yummie! This is the bar where you should have a drink for sure, maybe even 2 or 3!
Fun Key is a nice open bar on the beach with some real good tunes and a dancefloor under the stars. The drinks menu isn’t huge but is very good value. They have some nice French crepes on the menu if you work up an appetite on the dance floor.
Pogo is a really original bar with the Pogo-Man and all the other features - you need to see it! We've had some pretty wild parties in the past – so don’t miss it if you are looking for fun! Great tunes, good people. Shishas too.
DJ Station also on the beach and has a good choice of drinks, and a lively dance floor. It’s the place to go late and leave late - in the morning!
